Intelligent Camera - new defined
A new definition of the Intelligent Camera: due to the features of VisionCam PS, many different applications are possible. The area scan camera (1 MPixel) produces high-quality images. Because the camera has a dynamic of 120dB and uses Photonfocus LinLog technology, images cannot ruined by reflections.
Via multiple area of interest, basic image information can be used for calculations. The algorithms work with a 1 GHz processor - with 256 MB SDRAM. These are available for almost all of your applications because the multitasking operating system does not use any memory at all. Images and data can be stored onto the fast SD Card - which can be removed from the outside. Data can also be copied via Ethernet FTP.
Applicable interfaces exchange data via 1 GBit/s Ethernet TCP/IP - which can be handled by everyone whether SPS, PC, Windows, Linux, Excel, Labview or similar is used. 3/3 digital opto-decoupled IOs are completed by a serial interface and 3/3 RS422 inputs. RS422 is the standard interface for rotary encoders. Because the area scan camera can do lines, too, e.g. 1k @ 30 kHz. The shape factor of 60mm x 60mm x 135mm can be intergrated into many surroundings. Due to the embedded processor of Texas Instruments, the power consumption is at a minimum level: max. 8 watt.
The software of the camera permits features like image acquisition and storage, parameterization and service functions. It is prepared for your solution - before long, you will be able to realize your ideas. Professional support from our engineers is a matter of course.
