Compact computer for Camera Link

The VisionBox MPS Type 3 is a Camera Link computer. Camera Link is a reliable way to transmit digital data of line scan cameras or area scan cameras via point-to-point connection. Wires of up to 15 m length support several line scan cameras or area scan cameras. The adjustment of camera parameters are done by a serial feedback channel.

Type 3 supports SONY ultra-compact cameras with 29mm edge length as well as several other line scan cameras. If images have to be transmitted in high quality and high-speed, Type 3 is recommended. Camera Link offers a very good cost/performance ratio because of the wires being standard and the Camera Link Grabber being integrated into the VisionBox. There is no difference in costs compared to IEE 1394, concerning computers.

Optionally, this computer is available with a 1 Gbit/s Ethernet interface and/or field bus .

OEM-Versions

OEM-versions usually pay off in case of an annual need of 25 units. The VisionBox MPS has a modular construction - other versions are as well technically realizable. If the machine is administered via Ethernet, four Camera Link (Ethernet) interfaces would be the local architecture. Please ask for possibilities like specific labeling or coloring.
